A new café, Joo Hetki, will open in early 2023 in the Toppilansalmi neighbourhood of Oulu. Joo Hetki will be a local meeting place that's open to everyone. It will invite people to spend time with their neighbours, whether over breakfast, lunch or a cup of good coffee. As Joo residents' and other locals' shared living room, it also welcomes those looking for a place to study or work away from home.

Film nights, art exhibitions and flea markets

To encourage as many people to visit and get to know each other as possible, Joo Hetki will host a variety of events, everything from film nights to exhibitions to flea markets. Anyone can suggest events they'd like to see or organise, and a separate private space can be booked for parties such birthdays.

What's more, for extra convenience to Joo tenants, the café will double as a residents' help desk. Those moving into a new home in the area can easily pick up their keys at Joo Hetki.

The café will open in early 2023 in our new Oulun Mallastohtori apartment complex. We look forward to seeing you there!
