Dishwasher not working in your rental home? Try this checklist to troubleshoot.

Dishwasher not working? Don’t worry, it's not always broken. Before contacting maintenance, try these quick checks:

  • Make sure the dishwasher’s inlet valve is fully open.

  • Turn off the dishwasher’s fuse for a few minutes, then turn it back on.

  • Reset the residual-current device (RCD) in the fuse box.

  • Check and clean the filter at the bottom of the dishwasher to remove any blockages. Watch our video below for step-by-step instructions.
