What can you do at Joo Olohuone?

Joo Olohuone, Finnish for Joo Lounge, is a shared living room for Joo residents, made for hanging out and spending time together. As the name suggests, it's an extension of your apartment in the Kirkkonummen Manhattan, Soho and Brooklyn apartment complexes. Here's just some of the many things you can do in this multifunctional common room:

  1. Meet your neighbours and have a chat on the comfy sofas.

  2. Read the selection of books and magazines available.

  1. Study and work remotely with free WiFi.

  2. Challenge your neighbour to a round of cards or a board game.

  3. Keep fit with the wall bars and play Twister for flexibility.

  4. Borrow tools, cleaning equipment or games from the lending library.

  1. Make a cup of coffee or tea. There's a fridge for your own snacks, too.

  2. Use the whiteboard to come up with fun events with your neighbours. The big table is ideal for brainstorming sessions.

  3. Watch TV, particularly if there's an ice-hockey match on!

How to find Joo Olohuone

Joo Olohuone is located on the ground floor of the Kirkkonummen Manhattan building at Seppä-Kallen kuja 2 B. You can't miss the big Joo stickers on the windows.

Joo Olohuone is open every day of the week from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. You can get in with your own apartment key, but you must activate it on your first visit by tapping the electronic card reader of the front door of the apartment complex.

Weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4p.m. is designated quiet time at Joo Olohuone. Please respect this if you're sharing the space with anyone else.

To ensure Joo Olohuone is clean and inviting for the next visitors, too, please leave your shoes in the shoe rack and return any items to their place once you're finished with them. Thanks in advance, and we hope to see you there!
